He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (1993–1997) and is a certified
Registered Financial Planner (RFP) under the Malaysian Financial Planning Council. His multidisciplinary expertise and strategic insight make him well-suited for leadership roles in insurance and financial services, particularly in the governance and operation of captive insurance structures.
Is an experienced corporate leader and consultant with over three decades of expertise in public administration, corporate affairs, strategic development, and business consultancy. His career spans key roles in government, shipyard operations, and private enterprise, including senior management positions at Labuan Shipyard & Engineering and board appointments in government- linked companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and is an Ordinary Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MMIM). Datuk Peter has contributed to national development through advisory roles, demographic and socio-economic research, and strategic planning. His current engagements include business
consultancy, property management, and leadership roles in multiple private ventures, reflecting his continued
commitment to economic and community development in Labuan and beyond.
Is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in renewable energy, automotive products, and engineering solutions.Over the past two decades, she has held multiple directorships across
companies involved in solar energy development, eco- friendly technologies, and product innovation. Her
leadership has contributed to the successful commissioning of solar farm projects in Malaysia and Vietnam, as well as the development of Malaysian-made automotive products.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Finance from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Diploma in Oil Palm
Management and Technology from IMPAC, and a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy from Universiti Malaya. Tan Ai
Peng also serves as a committee member in several industry associations, including MPIA, TEEAM, and EMPTA, reflecting her active engagement in advancing Malaysia’s energy and engineering sectors.
